Highland Popcorn is a purpose-driven snack brand serving up small-batch popcorn with big personality. Founded by Shamus O’Meara and inspired by his son Conor, Highland was created to provide meaningful employment for adults with disabilities while making seriously good popcorn. The team built a bold, joyful brand from the ground up—one that champions its uniquely qualified workforce and sparkles with optimism at every touchpoint, from identity and packaging to brand voice and in-store experience.

A bright, cheerful identity full of whimsical characters, bold colors, lively patterns, and playful packaging was designed to celebrate purpose and capture the brand’s big personality.

The playful packaging was developed into a full product line and packaging system, with punchy names and personality-packed details that capture the brand’s spirit on shelf, creating a retail presence that pops with color, character, and heart.

From signage to uniforms, and pin-back buttons to modular seating, the in-store experience was designed to carry that same playful spirit—transforming the Highland Popcorn shop into a space that invites the community in to connect, share snacks, and spread a little joy.
